Gold Card Fundraiser (Bulldog Cards):

 

When: 2012 Bulldog Cards are sold at the end of summer camp each year before the regular season starts. This year it will run from August 13th to August 15th.

Purpose:  Generate funds to offset costs during the season. Our goal is to have every player sell 20 Bulldog Cards. Below are just a few of areas helped by this fundraier.


Travel expenses. Trips under 200 miles long are no longer allowed meal money. We feel strongly that players who travel, need to be fed, so we fundraise to cover these costs.

Hotel expenses.  The district pays for many rooms and if we take more players or coaches we pick up this through this fundraiser

Gas expenses for scouting trips.  We try to see as many of the best teams every year.  We travel as a staff to games throughout the year on Saturday and Friday nights.

Equipment. The district provides us with a modest amount of new equipment and we buy the rest. This may include girdles, helmets, belts, practice pants, practice jerseys, shoulder pads, and even things such as bug spray and bee killer.

Media expenses. DVD players, DVD discs for film exchange, postage costs, are all necessary to not only review our performance, but to prepare for the upcoming games each week.
